minimalist meal planning for busy mamas

Hey Mama!

Let's dive headfirst into the daily adventure we all know and love—mealtime!  I mean, who would've thought we'd become the head chefs responsible for feeding our fam three times a day, every day, until FOREVER? 🤓🍳🥪🍕

It stirs up MANY emotions for me, including but not limited to finding  myself surprised almost daily by the realization that, yep, those tummies are growling, and all eyes are on me! Can you relate?

It's time to transform your kitchen into a haven of simplicity and joy! Welcome to "A Mom's Guide to Minimalist Cooking." 🍽️🌟

The Magic of Minimalist Cooking

First things first…..you probably already know this about me, but I'll say it again—I am NOT a minimalist. I love my stuff! Clean countertops and beautiful, minimal decor are certainly appealing, but I tend to lean more towards the middle ground, where organization is key. However, when it comes to mealtime, I transform into a master of minimal cooking out of sheer necessity and the joy of simplicity.

1. First things first—let's declutter that kitchen and recipe roster.

Say goodbye to unused gadgets and excess clutter. Create a serene cooking space where everything has its place. The result? A more organized, less stressful meal prep routine. 🧹✨You want to be able to cook and clean up in a space that brings you joy–even if everything else around you is a mess. (Keep your eyes peeled for my new mini course launching in October for a step by step plan!)

Minimalist cooking isn't just about cleaning up your kitchen—it's about simplifying your recipes too. Think fewer ingredients, less fuss, and more flavor.

TO DO:

*Create a list of 10-20 beloved family favorites that you can whip up without a recipe. Give yourself permission to cook from this list without endlessly scrolling through Pinterest, relieving stress in the process. 🍽️✨

*Sign up for my kitchen declutter class when it's available!

2. Don't neglect meal planning.

Let’s save time and ensure your family enjoys delicious, nutritious meals every day. 📆🛒 My system?

✔️ Take stock of what's in the fridge.

✔️ Craft straightforward dinners based on those ingredients (I usually plan for five, leaving room for dining out or enjoying leftovers).

✔️Fill in the remaining slots with easy breakfasts and lunches that you can rotate. 🍳🥪🍴

In the end, it's all about bringing joy back to your kitchen. No more rushing or stressing—just simple dishes you can clean up easily so you can get back to hanging with your best peeps!
